Food Service Aide

About the role

Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to best address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services.
• Be an integral part of food preparations, serving prepared food to patients, families, staff, and visitors, and assisting in clean up.
• Provide quality work, show knowledge of the job, and demonstrate good decision‑making.
• Be timely and efficient when preparing food.
• Provide high‑quality food preparation and service.
• Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising quality.
• Volunteer to help in other areas of the kitchen when necessary.
• Demonstrate reliability and dependability in your work.
• Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous healthcare food service experience

Pay

$18.75 – $23.79 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule

Full‑time, 11 AM–7 PM (includes weekday and weekend shifts)
