What You'll Do
- Serve as a Food Service Account Manager for Pioneer Human Services Central Food Services.
- Obtain new food service accounts and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Fulfill and complete deliveries, accommodating customer requests and filling missing items daily.
- Ensure food par levels are met and communicate with kitchen staff daily.
- Consult with new customers regarding kitchen needs, storage capacity, billing, and other needs for offering services.
- Develop positive relationships and handle customers' needs.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, prepare, package, and assemble food orders accurately for delivery.
- Track and maintain food and supply inventories at customer locations.
- Communicate with kitchen staff about internal food temperatures and check orders in at customer facilities to ensure accuracy.
- Have a working knowledge of safety standards for kitchen staff and follow all established systems and controls for food order accuracy.
Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid WA state Food handler’s card.
- At least 2 years’ experience in food service account management or restaurant management.
- At least 6 months experience as a delivery driver (any type) and have some knowledge of the area of service.
- Ability to comprehend local maps and directions.
- Hands-on experience in sales and an ability to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Preferred: Some experience working in a commercial kitchen environment.
