Food Runner - Steady extra (Flamino LV)

Responsibilities

• Serve food in a timely manner.
• Ensure food order is correct before serving to the guests.
• Maintain tables closely and be attentive to guests’ needs.
• Describe in detail the preparation methods and ingredients of all the menu items.
• Carry multiple dishes (up to 3 at one time) in one hand without tray service.
• Passively informs guests about Gordon Ramsay, his history, and current business endeavors.
• Refresh flatware after each course or upon guest request.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area/station.
• Ensure work area/station is clean and stocked at all times.

Qualifications

• Work requires 6 months previous food server / running experience.
• Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
• Must present a neat and professional appearance.
• Work requires interactions with customers, public and co-workers.
• Work requires teamwork with other staff members.
• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage products.
• Able to perform basic/intermediate math skills.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests, staff and management.
• Knowledge, understanding and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels and other instructions.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions repeatedly.
• Visual ability needed to accurately measure ingredients for mixing drinks.
• Fast paced, high volume environment involving constant public.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting a minimum of 20lbs repeatedly.
• Shifts may vary based on business needs.
• Must be able to handle intoxicated guests in a professional manner.
• Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.
• Valid Nevada Food Handlers card.
• Valid Alchohol Awareness card.
