Food Runner - Residence Inn Miami Beach/Surfside

About the Role

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Food Runner to join our team. We are passionate hoteliers eager to add like-minded people to our rapidly growing team, with a mission to exude hospitality, be respectful and authentic, and prioritize the needs of our stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders to the correct tables in a timely manner.
• Verify that all orders are complete, accurate, and presented according to quality standards before leaving the kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff regarding guest requests or order modifications.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and expo area.
• Refill water, clear plates, and assist guests as needed while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Ensure food is served at the appropriate temperature and presentation standards.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
• Respond courteously and professionally to guest inquiries, referring concerns to a supervisor or server when appropriate.
• Assist with any food and/or beverage sales during slow periods.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of high school education preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role required.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Team player.

Pay

$15 per hour. This position is tipped eligible.
