Food Runner

About the role

As a Food Runner at Bar Sprezzatura, you are a key link between the kitchen and dining room, ensuring dishes arrive with precision, accuracy, and grace. With strong food knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality, you’ll help create memorable guest experiences while working closely with both the culinary and service teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food to tables
• Manage inventory and maintain cleanliness of serving stations
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Assist with setup and breakdown of service areas

Requirements

• 1-3 years’ experience in a fine dining or casual fine dining high volume atmosphere
• Exceptional communication skills
• Strong food knowledge
• Able to learn and retain information quickly
• Intellectual curiosity
• Able to work clean, organized, and as part of a team
• Able to move and lift 40 pounds at a time
• At least 16 years of age
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time

Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
