About the role

Border Cafe in Saugus is seeking a qualified Food Runner to join our growing team in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant. As a staple of the local restaurant scene, we’ve earned multiple awards for quality food and service and continue to grow daily.

Responsibilities

• Lift and carry heavy trays
• Deliver trays to tables
• Memorize all table numbers
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Learn recipes, including sauces and plating details
• Maintain a clean working area

Requirements

• Team player with strong time-management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Active listening skills
• Good physical condition
• High school diploma (food-safety training is a plus)
• Reliable commute or plan to relocate to Saugus, MA (Route One North)
• 1+ years of restaurant experience preferred

Pay

$22.00 – $28.00 per hour plus tips

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts
• Day shift
• Night shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends and holidays
