Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately.
• Maintain the highest quality of food presentation.
• Act as the point-of-contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
• Communicate food orders, pay attention to priorities and special requests (e.g., food allergies).
• Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g., proper temperature).
• Answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items.
• Perform side work and station set-up.

Qualifications

• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment.
• Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and/or plates and stand for long hours.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
