Food Production Specialist
Responsibilities
Handle production for key items to support Deli-CMS, Meat-Seafood, Bakery, and Produce departments.
Maintain knowledge of products/weekly ad items throughout the store and work across departments to assist guests in finding products and complete meal solutions.
Ensure excellent product is ready for our guests by inspecting our store products for proper rotation, cleaning, sanitation procedures, completing reports as necessary.
Follow all The Fresh Market standards, policies, and protocols.
Present self in a professional manner, including adhering to uniform standards.
The position requires the willingness to work a schedule of 3 am – 11 am with days off typically being Sunday and Wednesday of each week.
Shift differential of $2.00 per hour is offered for hours between 12 am – 5 am.
The position also requires flexibility to work weekends, days, evenings, and holidays as needed to meet the needs of our stores, guests, and teams.
Qualifications
This position requires a strong background in food production and experience working in a retail environment.
Experience with inventory management and customer service is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred.
Willingness to work flexible hours is required.
