About the role
EFCO Products is seeking a Food Plant Reliability Maintenance Technician to join our team in Poughkeepsie, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and reliability engineering, with experience in food processing environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment
- Assist in developing and implementing reliability programs
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve plant efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in food processing plant maintenance
- Experience with reliability-centered maintenance methodologies
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
Qualifications
- Proficient in using maintenance software and tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
