Food Pantry Volunteer

About the role

RSVP coordinates efforts of local agencies providing food pantry assistance and food packing assistance. Agencies in Chester, Delaware, Philadelphia, and Montgomery counties are experiencing increased demand for support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food distribution and packing at local food pantries
• Help manage inventory and ensure proper storage of food items
• Communicate with agency partners to coordinate food supply and distribution schedules
• Support administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

• Driver’s License
• Background Check
• Attend Orientation

Qualifications

• Experience working with community organizations is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills
• Flexibility to work varying hours and days
