About the Role

Join Sodexo at Boeing in Arlington, VA as a Food Operations Manager 2. Lead a dynamic catering program, oversee daily operations, and manage a team of up to 9 while delivering exceptional service in a high-profile corporate environment. In this hands-on role, you'll lead catering operations, manage billing and administrative tasks, train and develop staff, oversee pantry services, and ensure seamless, on-time event execution. Enjoy a primarily M-F schedule with rare evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site food service operations and deliver exceptional service outcomes.
• Drive operational performance, financial results, and client satisfaction through effective team leadership, safety oversight, and strategic execution.
• Lead high-volume dining operations with visibility across service, safety, and financial outcomes.
• Champion sustainability, culinary quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner closely with clients to strengthen relationships and deliver on contractual commitments.

Qualifications

• Strong catering or food service management experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams.
• Experience with event execution, client relations, financial administration, and maintaining high service standards.
• Knowledge of HACCP standards, regulatory compliance, and high-volume dining environments.
• Hospitality-focused approach centered on service quality and customer experience.
• Creative mindset supporting culinary innovation, sustainability, and team engagement.

Requirements

• Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Management Experience: 2 - 3 years.
• Related Experience: 2 - 3 years.

Pay

Pay Range: $77,605 per year - $100,430 per year

Schedule

Primarily Monday-Friday with rare evenings and weekends.
