Food Operations Manager 1

Sodexo partners with government agencies and military organizations to improve people’s quality of life and make a positive impact. Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager to join the management team at Fort Leonard Wood MEDCOM hospital in Saint. Robert, MO.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of food service to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources
• Ensures operating standards and regulatory requirements are met
• Manage patient and retail operations
• Deliver high quality food service
• Implement and fully utilize all Sodexo tools and programs to ensure financial outcomes
• Develop and maintain client and customer relationships
• Develop and implement plans, projects, with defined objectives, methods, timetables and budget to support client and Sodexo strategic plan
• Create a positive and safe environment
• Ensure Sodexo standards are met

Requirements

• Have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively
• Have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
• Ensure Sodexo and Army performance expectations are met
• Ensure compliance TB Med 530 Tri Service Food Code
• Have an understanding of HACCP, and Sodexo, NSF Standards
• Have 3-5 years of Healthcare food service experience in a management position

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum Management Experience - 2 Years
• Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
