About the role

This position is located in Hillsboro, Oregon with potential relocation available. Work is performed 100% on‑site in Hillsboro, OR. Under limited supervision, manages maintenance employees and oversees repairs, equipment installation, and preventative building and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance employees and oversee automated technology
• Troubleshoot problems with Human‑Machine Interface and Programmable Logic Controllers
• Maintain employee relations and evaluate job performance
• Conduct preventative maintenance and follow‑through
• Make repairs using a Business Planning and Control System
• Follow company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Ensure regular attendance and punctuality

Requirements

• 10+ years maintenance experience (required)
• English/Spanish bilingual (a plus)

Skills

• Electrical/mechanical experience (preferred)
• Basic computer skills (required)
• Training experience (preferred)

Working Conditions

• Refrigerated food manufacturing plant
• Environment may be wet or dry; temperatures range from 25°F to 110°F
• Frequent exposure to hazardous materials and conditions
• Occasional lifting, kneeling, and bending with items over 100 lbs
• Travel approximately 5% of the time

Schedule

Regular attendance and punctuality are required. Production demands may require evening or weekend scheduling.
