Description

There is a Hunger crisis in New York City and our work to end it is far from over. Volunteers have made a huge impact at TCAH this past year and we would love to have you join our team. We could use your help at our Food Hub with packing produce bags, distribution, line management, and more.

Food Hub Assistant

• Location: 57-17 Rockaway Beach Boulevard, Arverne NY 11692
• Hours: 8:00 AM TO 4:00 PM

Age restrictions

You must be accompanied by a parent/guardian if under 16.

Description of volunteer duties

• Assist staff with packing produce bags
• Keep count of the number of bags packed
• Restock packing table
• Break down used boxes
• Maintain the cleanliness of the pantry

Attire

Volunteers should dress comfortably however, no open-toed shoes. Boots or sneakers are required.
