Food Court Clerk I (Part-Time)

About the role

We are a Wisconsin grocer committed to giving back to communities and providing exceptional service. We operate +40 full-service supermarkets across Wisconsin. This role is part-time, with shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide helpful service with a friendly greeting and addressing guest concerns professionally.
• Offer assistance by assisting guests with orders, recommending menu items, and ensuring they leave happy.
• Prepare and serve delicious food court offerings, including coffee, pizza, and popcorn, while maintaining high-quality and food safety standards.
• Keep the food court area clean and stocked, updating food safety logs and keeping workspaces spotless.
• Support your fellow associates in a restaurant-like setting, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
• Honor commitments by being regularly present and notifying a replacement for occasional absences.

Requirements

• A friendly, team-oriented attitude with strong guest service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast food or restaurant retail grocery environment, multitask, and maintain efficiency.
• Comfort handling food service equipment like dishwashers, fryers, woks, and ovens (training provided).
• Willingness to be cross-trained in different food court areas.

Qualifications

• Physical demands and work environment: Must be able to handle working at fast speeds, lifting up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis, and full range of upper body motion. May be exposed to extreme temperatures.
• Work schedule: Part-time position with shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
