Food Court Clerk I (Part-Time)

About the role

We are a Wisconsin grocer dedicated to community service and guest satisfaction. We operate over 40 full-service supermarkets across Wisconsin. This role involves providing exceptional service in a fast-paced food service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide helpful service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally and courteously.
• Offer assistance by assisting with orders, recommending menu items, and ensuring guests are satisfied.
• Prepare and serve delicious food court offerings, including coffee, pizza, and popcorn, while maintaining high-quality and food safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized food court area by stocking supplies, updating food safety logs, and keeping workspaces spotless.
• Work in a team environment, supporting fellow associates in smooth daily operations.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
• Honor commitments by being regularly present and providing adequate notice for absences.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A friendly, team-oriented attitude with strong guest service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast food or restaurant retail grocery environment, multitask, and maintain efficiency.
• Comfort handling food service equipment like dishwashers, fryers, woks, and ovens (training provided).
• A willingness to be cross-trained in different food court areas.

Qualifications

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Must be able to handle working at fast speeds.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Full range of upper body motion.
• May be exposed to extreme temperatures.
