Starting pay range: $20.75 - $22.75 per hour. Full pay range: $20.75 - $35.25 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, available, and accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They are experts in operations, process, and efficiency, leading food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, and pricing accuracy.
This role provides meaningful experiences to build and develop skills for a career, including:

- Food & Beverage business fundamentals, such as department sales trends, freshness, food safety, inventory management, and pricing strategies
- Planning daily/weekly workload to support priorities and deliver sales goals
- Leading a team of hourly team members, including interviewing, training, coaching, evaluating, and developing talent
Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an easy, inspiring, and friendly experience
- Train and hold team members accountable for guest experience and operational consistency
- Review guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities and drive results
- Plan and execute daily/weekly workload to meet department and store sales goals, including merchandising, pricing, and promotions
- Lead a guest-focused, efficient Food & Beverage team by completing daily standards walks
- Assess backroom and sales floor areas daily, prioritize business needs, and assign workload tasks
- Establish clear goals and expectations, holding team members accountable
- Communicate and collaborate with the store leadership team to influence sales and workload deliverables
- Maintain a fresh, full, and food-safe area leveraging strong inventory management and food safety policies
- Assign daily tasks based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns
- Lead and demonstrate best practices, closing skill gaps through coaching and training
- Lead team huddles to communicate focuses and trends
- Develop and maintain vendor partnerships to ensure clear expectations and reliable in-stock levels
- Place store-initiated orders to ensure product availability
- Support hiring and onboarding of new team members
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up, and Drive-up while maintaining compliance
- Become a subject matter expert in federal, state, and local adult beverage laws (if applicable)
- Maintain Starbucks and Pizza Hut Brand Standards and foster productive partnerships (if applicable)
- Complete all required Starbucks and/or Pizza Hut training or certifications (if applicable)
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Lead and model safety culture, including hazard identification and incident reporting
- Support merchandise protection strategies across the store
- Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and creating equitable experiences
- Assume store-level leadership on duty (LOD) responsibilities as needed
- Address all store emergency and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail and/or food experience preferred but not required
- Strong interest and knowledge of the Food & Beverage business
- Ability to lead and hold others accountable
- Effective communication skills using multiple frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Interpret instructions, reports, and information accurately
- Handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders if needed
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving up to 44 pounds without assistance
- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to work in refrigeration and freezer temperatures and conditions, including exposure to common allergens
- Capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts (shift length may vary)
