Responsibilities

  • Monitor the bar and indoor/outdoor seating areas in a supervisory capacity, while also supporting other food and beverage outlets as needed.
  • Ensure all guests receive a flawless welcome and dining experience, adhering to Forbes standards.
  • Fill in wherever necessary to maintain the highest level of guest service.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Adhere to departmental policies and procedures, ensuring smooth service flow and coordination between the kitchen and front-of-house.
  • Address staff concerns and customer feedback to improve service and team dynamics.
  • Train and motivate staff to uphold the highest standards of service and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the immediate work area and general property.
  • Resolve issues promptly to sustain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware, and garnishes for beverages and food.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED recommended.
  • TIPS certification required (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
  • Current Food Handlers card required.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisor experience in a luxury resort setting preferred.
  • Ability to interact effectively with associates and guests.
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Flexible availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work under variable temperature conditions.
  • Capability to endure abundant physical movements throughout work areas.
