Food & Beverage Outlets Manager
About the role
Havana Cabana is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our dynamic team. This role oversees all F&B personnel, ensuring effective labor management, cost efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Hiring, training, and administering performance reviews for F&B staff
- Ensuring cost-efficient schedules and inventory management
- Onboarding and training new F&B staff
- Coaching and disciplining F&B staff
- Managing special product needs and inventory levels
- Leading daily pre-meals/stand-up meetings and special events
- Ensuring compliance with F&B operational procedures
- Developing and maintaining marketing strategies
- Handling guest complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Overseeing in-room dining and bar operations
- Managing cash revenue and tip distribution
- Completing employee evaluations and fostering a positive team environment
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional restaurant leadership experience
- Proven ability to manage a strong beverage program
- Experience in banquet/event execution
- Multi-outlet and in-room dining experience
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
- High School diploma/GED
- Able to complete a satisfactory background check
- Flexible availability to work weekdays and weekends
- Sincere enthusiasm for the role and passion for food and beverage
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours, walk frequently, and move up and down stairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive manual dexterity tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively in a public setting
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Point of Sale software
- Knowledge of basic cleaning chemicals and tools
- Understanding of CO2 soda fountain systems, refrigeration/freezer systems, keg storage systems, automatic dishwasher, golf cart (where applicable), and timekeeping/payroll software
