Food & Beverage | Bouncer | Part Time Seasonal

About the role

To provide resort guests with food and beverage products. As a customer-focused organization, a crucial part of the role is to get and keep guests by exceeding their expectations and exemplifying Loon’s Brand.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time to work with a neat and clean appearance.
• Greet guests with a smile.
• Carry on appropriate conversations with guests while continuing to do other duties.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar areas including decks and patios.
• Understand basic knowledge of state laws and regulations regarding beer, wine, and liquor.
• Responsible for carding anyone who looks under 30 years of age.
• Responsible for cutting off alcohol to anyone who becomes intoxicated.
• Help keep the bar stocked.
• Contribute to team effort by participating in job sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees, attending safety meetings, accepting diverse assignments, and maintaining a positive and friendly attitude in all interactions.
• Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by the Bar Manager.
• Implement elements of the operation plan that apply to the bar as per the manager’s instructions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
