About the role
The Food Bank Coordinator contributes to AHF by supporting the day-to-day operations of the Food Bank, ensuring people living with HIV/AIDS receive access to nutritious, appropriate food as part of their care plan.
Responsibilities
- Verifying client eligibility in CareWare
- Assisting clients with their SmartChoice food selections
- Preparing food orders for pick-up or home delivery
- Coordinating the timely and respectful delivery of those orders
- Ensuring timely service, accurate data entry, and adherence to guidelines set by licensed nutrition professionals
- Providing home deliveries to clients living with HIV/AIDS
- Collecting and reporting impact data
- Ensuring grant-related requirements are met
- Collaborating with the Food Bank Manager and licensed nutritionists to support menu planning and respond to client needs
