Food Assembly Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of helpers, building professional relationships and supporting individual team members in meeting and exceeding goals.
• Lead the day-to-day needs of the food production department with direction of Supervisors and Management.
• Delivers necessary communication to ensure food quality and on-time delivery of finished product are guaranteed.
• Carry out assigned work to ensure on-time delivery of finished product.
• Train new hires and make sure all training sessions are recorded

• Proactive and self-organized
• Able to manage through a substantial workload
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Able to complete assigned tasks within the given time in order to meet strict deadlines
• Able to move, lift, carry, pull or push as needed
• Able to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures
• Able to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs
