About the role
The Food and Nutrition Food Service Worker I is a competent support services employee responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. This role involves performing specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist and meeting mutually agreed-upon performance goals. The position ensures patient safety, infection control practices, department security, and adherence to HIPAA guidelines. It also focuses on maintaining Food & Nutrition’s uniform and personal appearance standards, achieving patient, customer, and physician satisfaction goals, and fostering a culture aligned with HCA’s vision, mission, and values.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years of experience in healthcare preferred
- Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire
