About the Role
The Food and Nutrition Food Service Worker I will be a competent Support services employee responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. Responsibilities include:
- Performing specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist.
- Meeting mutually agreed-upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the performance management plan.
- Utilizing systems/processes to ensure patient safety, infection control practices, department security, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Maintaining and adhering to Food & Nutrition’s uniform and personal appearance standards at all times.
- Utilizing proper processes to achieve patient, customer, and physician satisfaction goals.
- Fostering a culture of commitment to the HCA vision, mission, and values of the organization.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in healthcare preferred.
- Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire.
