Core Duties And Responsibilities

  • Completes preparatory service assignments and post-service assignments in a timely manner.
  • Participates in menu class and presents it to residents in a clear, informative, and courteous fashion.
  • Wait on tables in a timely manner and ensures resident needs are met promptly and accurately.
  • Interacts with residents, families, and coworkers in a professional manner.
  • Reports to work on time and in proper uniform (clean shirt, bow tie, apron, name tag, black slacks and shoes, and a pen).
  • Attends all mandatory education events.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Some high school education.
  • On-the-job-training.

  • Knowledge of dining room systems.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Behaviors and principles of person-centered care including dignity, respect, compassion, coordinated care, support, and treatment.
  • Personalized care and services.
