About the Role

Meadowcreek Golf Course in Charlottesville, VA, is hiring for Part-Time Food and Beverage Staff positions. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our fast-paced, hospitality-focused team. Responsibilities

We are hiring for the following roles, each with specific responsibilities:

• Beverage Cart Attendant:
  • Ensure beverage cart is fully operational before starting rounds.
  • Stock and clean the beverage cart throughout the day.
  • Maintain knowledge of golf course etiquette and state liquor laws.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests on the course.
  • Handle cash transactions and use the Point of Sales (POS) system.
  • Communicate guest concerns to the Director of Food and Beverage and Chef.
• Steward:
  • Clean, sanitize, and stock dishes, pots, pans, flatware, and glassware.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including dry storage and walk-in cooler.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of garbage.
  • Clean kitchen equipment, such as steam tables, hoods, and exhaust systems.
• Cook:
  • Maintain food production and quality standards.
  • Expedite orders and practice excellent sanitation.
  • Execute banquet functions and maintain professional relationships with associates.
  • Monitor and reduce loss/waste.
  • Check and date deliveries, verify cooler temperatures, and process inventory requisitions.
  • Prepare food according to recipes and production plans.

Qualifications

• Beverage Cart Attendant & Steward:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must meet state age requirements to serve alcohol (for Beverage Cart Attendant).
• Cook:
  • ServSafe certification preferred.

Skills

• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Hospitality-oriented attitude.
• Experience preferred but not required.

Pay

Pay range: $12.77 to $16.00 per hour.
