Under the direct supervision of the Food & Beverage Supervisor, the F&B Kitchen Staff is responsible for providing quality food and service while adhering to the Lucky Star employee handbook and food & beverage policies and procedures.
Schedule
Requires availability for mornings, afternoons, and evenings, Monday through Sunday. Requests for specific days off require advance notification and approval.
Responsibilities
- Fulfill duties of line cook or kitchen utility as assigned, following all policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper kitchen set-up, including prep of workspace, food recipes, and supplies.
- Perform proper kitchen breakdown, including transfer of product and accurate labeling/storage of leftovers.
- Maintain high standards of food and beverage preparation, focusing on quality and timeliness.
- Uphold high levels of sanitation and safety in food preparation and work areas.
- Maintain inventory stock levels of supplies, condiments, and food.
- Exhibit STAR treatment to all customers and co-workers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk continuously for a full shift, including during lunch breaks.
- Perform tasks requiring bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting, and pulling.
- Move objects up to and exceeding 40 lbs. with reasonable accommodations.
- Work in a kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Entry-level position; no prior experience required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must maintain a valid Cheyenne-Arapaho Gaming Permit.
Criteria for Gaming License Disqualification
- Felonies: Absolutely no felonies within the past ten (10) years.
- Misdemeanors:
- Theft/Fraud within two (2) years: Automatic disqualification.
- Domestic Abuse/Assault and Battery within two (2) years: Automatic disqualification (unless proof of attendance in a treatment program is provided).
- Drug/Alcohol-related offenses within two (2) years: Automatic disqualification (unless proof of attendance in a treatment program is provided).
