Food and Beverage Manager-PM

Job Summary

The Food and Beverage Manager-PM oversees and leads the Food and Beverage team in all daily operational duties, assisting in the overall management of the Front of House F&B operations. This role also includes developing active knowledge of food and beverage products, supervising employees, handling guest reservations, and maintaining open lines of communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain required standards to achieve superior customer service and consistent product within budgeted guidelines
• Develop active knowledge of food and beverage products served in the outlets
• Actively supervise and assist with the greeting of food and beverage guests
• Maintain POS system by keeping database current and organized
• Supervise the cleanliness of all areas related to the outlet
• Oversee all employees in the restaurant during a given shift
• Handle guest reservations in a timely and efficient manner
• Supervise all delegated duties to required standards
• Monitor approved training program for all Food and Beverage outlet personnel
• Hold daily pre-service meetings to include Hotel and Food and Beverage information
• Aid management and service personnel whenever necessary
• Requisition all necessary equipment to maintain consistent level of operation
• Maintain open lines of communication with other managers and departments
• Actively participate in preparation of fiscal budgets
• Maintain presence at outlet and assist with greeting guests during outlet hours of operation
• Attend and contribute to weekly Food and Beverage meetings

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and supervisory skills
• Experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food and beverage products and services
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in using POS systems
