Food and Beverage Manager

About the role

We’re looking for a Manager to lead the team at our new family entertainment facility at Colorado Mills, Lakewood. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys video games, bowling, karaoke, and working in a fun environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction by being constantly visible and readily accessible to our customers.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations.
• Select, coach, and develop effective staff for the Food & Beverage Department.
• Hold weekly staff meetings with department supervisors to discuss and resolve any issues relating to operations, staffing, customer service, etc.
• Issue disciplinary actions for department staff.
• Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food in order to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner.
• Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents in order to verify product quality and quantity.
• Conduct and enforce alcohol and age restriction control in accordance with company policies.
• Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.
• Monitor department budgets and payroll records, and review financial transactions in order to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted.
• Conduct and monitor department inventory, submitting reports on weekly and monthly basis.
• Enforce compliance with all local, state, federal regulations and company policy pertaining to safety and health.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old to handle and serve alcohol.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years food & beverage management experience, preferably in the restaurant / fast food / hospitality industries.
