Food and Beverage Manager
Responsibilities
- Oversight of all daily venue operations
- Ensuring the quality of all food and beverage products served
- Providing strong leadership to staff
- Fostering a positive and cooperative work environment
- Interviewing, hiring, training, and orienting new team members
- Evaluating and overseeing job performance
- Aiding in goal setting and professional development plans
- Managing inventory control
- Preparing and/or approving departmental schedules
- Completing all necessary administrative work
- Conducting group and individual training on company policies, service standards, food and beverage offerings, and equipment
- Promoting a fun, friendly, quick, comfortable, clean, and safe environment ("The Big Six")
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field and 3-5 years of food and beverage management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven ability to supervise and manage a department, with authority over hiring, firing, and performance decisions
- Ability to obtain SERV Safe certification
- Ability to obtain a State-issued Alcoholic Beverage License
- Requires lifting objects up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

This role involves direct supervision and development of the team, ensuring high standards of safety and sanitation, and managing financial aspects such as inventory, food and beverage costs, and labor budgets.
