Food and Beverage Group Manager

About the role

Year-round work with on-mountain employee housing available for rent.

Responsibilities

• Manages standards of quality, service, safety, and profit
• Develops and implements goals, policies, and objectives
• Oversees all aspects of operations under direction
• Assists in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training of management and staff
• Carries out administrative functions: hiring, scheduling, payroll, performance reviews, coaching, counseling, and discipline
• Oversees managers, supervisors, and employees
• Attends all required meetings
• Conducts training seminars (e.g., tips, food handling)
• Ensures guest satisfaction by:
  • Assisting in menu planning, analysis, and pricing
  • Coordinating additional staff needs for special events and conference center business
  • Inspecting outlets and employees for compliance with health, safety, and state regulations
  • Addressing guest feedback on service, presentation, product quality, and overall experience
  • Creating and implementing promotions, animation, and special events
• Maintains profitability by:
  • Monitoring labor costs, cost of goods sold, and other costs
  • Contributing to the annual budget process and business plan

Education

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Experience

5 years of restaurant/business supervisory or management experience required.
