About the Role
We are seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to direct and oversee all aspects of the property’s food and beverage planning and service, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Responsibilities
- Maximize food and beverage department profitability through strategic planning and administration.
- Clearly describe, assign, and delegate responsibilities within the food and beverage department(s).
- Develop, implement, and monitor schedules to achieve profitable operations.
- Implement effective control of food, beverage, and labor costs.
- Regularly evaluate customer acceptance of services to enhance experiences in a competitive environment.
- Develop processes to ensure exceptional internal and external experiences.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of company business functions, including financial status, guest information, and employee issues.
- Perform additional duties as requested by leadership to improve property operations and guest service.
- Complete all required training to continuously learn and grow.
Requirements
- Extensive training in food safety, health codes, and local/state restaurant laws.
- Progressive food and beverage operations experience, including leadership, financial, and market analysis.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays (24/7 business operations).
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to maintain a clean and professional work area, uniform, and personal appearance.
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems and evacuation procedures (or willingness to learn).
- Physical ability to bend, reach, kneel, push, stretch, and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Capability to work 8-hour shifts in restrictive spaces/environments, including standing for extended periods.
- Eyesight enabling both near and far vision, with comfort using step stools or ladders.
- Ability to work in extreme conditions such as heat, cold, and stress.
- Finger dexterity for operating equipment.
- Highest degree of integrity, humility, and adherence to the Golden Rule.
