About the role

The Restaurant Manager at The Cromwell is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with health department regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction by building relationships with guests and encouraging employees to do the same.
  • Solves customer complaints and service deficiencies by listening actively, responding sincerely, and using appropriate service recovery tools.
  • Analyzes business trends and employee performance using tools like Avero to develop strategies for maximizing revenue and reducing expenses.
  • Makes the restaurant/bar compliant with Health Department rules and standards, aiming for an “A” grade.
  • Maximizes employee morale by setting a positive example and providing necessary tools, guidance, and support for excellent guest service.
  • Conducts individual and team training sessions (QIT, CIP’s, EOS/SFS, Step 1, and Buzz), and uses the Caesars Entertainment coaching cycle for feedback.
  • Fulfills additional duties as requested by the Food and Beverage Director.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years old or older.
  • Positive and professional interactions with all casino/hotel departments.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Able to assist co-workers as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred.
  • At least five years of high-volume Food and Beverage experience.
  • Minimum three years of supervisory experience.
  • Nevada Food Handler Certification, Nevada Alcohol Awareness Certification, and Nevada non-gaming (Sheriff’s) Certification.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Knowledgeable about current PC software, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Proficient in Point of Sales systems (Micros, InfoGenesis).
