Food and Beverage Assistant Manager - Full-Time

Role Overview: Support and assist the Food and Beverage Manager in daily operations, providing leadership to Front of House teams and stepping in as needed. Ensure exceptional customer service, prioritizing guest satisfaction and making every child feel special at the resort. Key Responsibilities Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer experiences, addressing guest concerns with empathy and effective communication.Assist staff with restaurant duties and delegate management tasks to team leads.Handle HR functions such as scheduling, hiring, disciplinary actions, and employee relations.Maintain safety and health standards, ensuring equipment functionality and staff training on safety protocols.Manage financial aspects including inventory, food waste reduction, labor monitoring, and reporting.Support catering events, generate operational reports, and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2 years in food service leadership, full-service experience preferred.Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills to manage and motivate staff.Proficiency in reading, writing, and computer use.Ability to work efficiently under pressure, including during holidays and weekends.Food Handler certification required. Physical & Other Requirements: Frequent lifting, walking, standing, and working in kitchen environments with noise, heat, and chemicals. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and wear PPE. Adaptability and a positive attitude are essential for success in this dynamic role.
