Food and Beverage Assistant

About the role

The Princess Grace Hospital, located in London, offers permanent positions with shifts ranging from 06:30 to 22:00, working 5 days out of 7. The position pays £14.80 per hour, along with excellent benefits including private healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of service similar to a high-end hotel or restaurant, focusing on attentiveness and positive experiences.
• Help patients choose meals, take orders, and deliver food across the hospital.
• Prepare and collect meal trays promptly.
• Answer phone requests and communicate dietary needs to the kitchen.
• Keep work areas clean, wash utensils, and maintain hygiene standards.
• Record additional requests and follow allergen and dietary safety policies.

Requirements

• Previous hospitality, retail, or customer-service experience.
• Confidence in speaking with patients and colleagues.
• Pride in delivering warm, attentive service.
• Good awareness of food hygiene standards.
• A flexible, reliable approach during busy periods.
