Folding and Gluing Packer

Responsibilities

• Review job tickets and determine customer specifications.
• Stack cases of products on proper pallets to ensure that customer request is met and product will be received in undamaged conditions.
• Label and/or mark all cases and skids correctly.
• Help packers in getting corrugated cases to the finishing equipment.
• Keep a supply of pallets readily available in the case sealer area.
• Maintain the case sealer area in a clean and safe manner.
• If workload allows, assist in stretch wrapping and banding pallets.

Qualifications

• Basic Computer Skills
• Good verbal and written communication
• Requires physical ability to climb stairs, bend, sit, stand, walk, reach with arms, push, pull and use hands and fingers to feel and handle material for extended time frames
• Must have ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly and regularly. Includes the ability to stoop, squat, crawl and kneel as needed
• This position requires frequent walking.
• The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking.
• Occasionally employees are required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
