About the Role
This part-time Breakfast Busser/Runner position supports servers in delivering quality service to all guests and assists the management team as needed. Shifts are Monday, Wednesday through Friday, and Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Set up tables with the appropriate mis en place (ketchup, salt, pepper, HP, and sugar bowl).
- Ensure all stations are fully stocked and maintained during service.
- Set up candles on tables.
- Detail all tables before service to ensure place settings are neat and organized.
- Deliver bread and water to all tables in the assigned section; assist other sections as needed.
- Maintain the bread warmer organized and full.
- Clear tables between each course and reset for new guests.
- Complete assigned side work before and after service (refer to side work sheets for details).
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate and understand directions in English to ensure workplace safety.
- Proficiency in English to engage with co-workers, managers, and guests.
- Flexible schedule.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands.
- Capable of working on your feet for at least 8 hours.
- Able to move quickly between different areas of the restaurant.
- Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 40 pounds.
- Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch, and climb as required.
