FNS WORKER

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Cook to join our healthcare team. Your primary role is to prepare food, following planned menus and standardized recipes. You will coordinate the activities with other cooks and cafeteria workers and be responsible for coordinating and requisitioning production supplies.

• Assist in meal planning
• Prepare foods to meet standards
• Follow proper food handling techniques
• Follow recipes and production instructions
• Met all time deadlines and assure that foods are not prepared too far in advance
• Assure taste tests are done with each meal and follow up with any problems
• Communicate to management
• Actively participate and contribute throughout the day

Qualifications

• High School or equivalency required
• 1 year of applicable experience preferred
