Job Summary
Responsible of performing various cleaning tasks, running a dish machine, and operating a manual pot & pan wash station.
General Responsibilities
- Operates commercial dish machine & manual pot washing stations.
- Sets up dish machine &/or pot areas promptly at the beginning of each shift and keeps kitchen supplied with clean pots/pans/china/silverware/etc throughout the day.
- Thoroughly breaks down and cleans equipment after each meal period.
- Checks & records the dish machine temperature prior to each meal period washing.
- Tests pot washing final rinse water to assure effective concentration of sanitizing solution.
- Maintains knowledge of each utility position duties.
- Adheres to departmental Quality Assurance procedures.
- Able to demonstrate effective sanitation of ware washing equipment.
- Performs daily and weekly cleaning assignments according to schedule.
- Fulfills other miscellaneous job duties as assigned.

Experience and Education
- PREFERRED: 6 months food service experience with knowledge of commercial dish machines or pot washing.
- REQUIRED: High school graduate/equivalent.
Qualifications
- Food Handler Certification Required Upon Hire.
