FMS Crossing Guards (5)

Responsibilities

• Conduct crossing guard duties for two hours in the morning and two hours in the afternoon during the academic year.
• Assist students, parents, and other pedestrians in safely crossing designated intersections near the educational facility.
• Adhere to traffic control guidelines and ensure the smooth flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
• Maintain a visible and authoritative presence to deter unsafe behavior and promote a safe crossing environment.
• Attend a short training session to familiarize yourself with the responsibilities and protocols.

Qualifications

• Interest in education and a commitment to ensuring the safety of students and pedestrians.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and drivers.
• Ability to follow and enforce traffic control guidelines.
• Must be available to start the position in August 2024.

Pay

$15 per hour - 20 hours per week
