FM Coordinator
About the role
Skilled in mechanical/electrical operations of facilities. Perform maintenance and repairs to standard facility equipment. Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure maintenance & repairs are conducted timely.
Responsibilities
- Document all work within DHL maintenance system
- Perform maintenance and repairs to standard facility equipment (HVAC, Lighting, Plumbing, etc.)
- Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure maintenance & repairs are conducted timely.
- Surveying buildings and repair mechanical systems
- Performing maintenance of electrical systems
- Aiding in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems
- Performing manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
- Explain facts, practices, policies, etc. to others within the organization adhering to narrowly defined procedures, standards and guidelines
- Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own team
- Communicate information that requires some explanation or interpretation
- Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships
Requirements
Education Level: Vocational or Technical education with FM certification. Associates degree in technical field a plus.
Experience Level: More than 2 years in Facility Management with a technical focus. Previous experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) system
