Responsibilities

• Assemble metal pieces and products by using handheld welding equipment that emits high heat and forms pieces together.
• Stack welded parts on a pallet neatly and quickly change from one weldment to the next.
• Must be able to perform flat, vertical, and overhead welds with 7018 Electrode.
• Must be able to perform flat and vertical welds with Dual Shielded Wire.
• Must be able to weld with settings in the parameter established.
• Must show ability to work from specifications, drawings, and weld symbols.
• Must be able to lift and carry approximately twenty pounds (20lbs) consistently, occasionally up to approximately 100 pounds (100lbs).
• Must be able to work 8 to 12 hours a day and occasional Saturdays.
• Must be able to attain PCI certification to be a welder at Coreslab.

Compensation

$23.50 per hour
