Position Responsibilities
- Develop detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan
- Develop solutions to calibration systems to achieve test requirements
- Uses analytical tools to verify the design
- Analyze, process and format data to customer requirements
- Review test data, including off-nominal data for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer
- Support the development and verification of test methods
- Guide others in the design of test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements
- Prepare and publish test reports to document test results and satisfy requirements
- Present test results internally or externally
- Archive data and reports
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field from an accredited institution
- Relevant experience in laboratory, testing, production, aerospace, or related technical environments
- Experience with avionics, electrical systems, propulsion systems, fluid dynamics, leak testing, and/or pneumatic panel operations
- Experience supporting or performing space-based avionics, electrical systems, and/or propulsion system testing
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, troubleshooting techniques, and system validation processes for complex aerospace systems
- Experience with Environmental Control and Life Support Systems (ECLS) is a plus
- Experience working with NASA programs, customers, or aerospace-related organizations is highly desired
- Ability to work in confined spaces and perform hands-on testing activities in operational environments
- Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, climbing, and working at heights, with or without equipment assistance
- Experience coordinating activities, guiding team efforts, setting priorities, or providing technical direction to support testing operations
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills in support of aerospace, propulsion, or electrical system testing
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly to stakeholders
- Experience operating in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
