Fluid Connector Account Manager

About the role

The Fluid Connector Account Manager is responsible for growing sales of hydraulic hose, fittings, connectors, adapters, couplings, and related fluid conveyance products within assigned accounts and territory. This is a technical outside sales position focused specifically on fluid conveyance applications, building strong customer relationships, developing new business, and providing product solutions that meet customer requirements. The Account Manager serves as a primary contact for fluid conveyance customers and works closely with Wilson's Customer Service, Hose and Production teams, suppliers, and manufacturers to identify opportunities, solve application challenges, and grow profitable business.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow sales of hydraulic hose, fittings, connectors, adapters, couplings, and related fluid conveyance products within assigned accounts and territory.
• Develop new business by identifying and pursuing customers with fluid conveyance and hydraulic hose requirements.
• Regularly call on customers and prospects to understand their applications, identify opportunities, and develop long-term relationships.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase fluid conveyance market penetration and achieve sales and profit goals.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and product recommendations; follow up on opportunities and close sales.
• Identify new applications, products, and opportunities for hose and connector products.
• Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and territory opportunities.
• Serve as a primary contact for customers and provide responsive, professional service.
• Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate hose, fitting, connector, coupling, and fluid conveyance solutions.
• Work directly with customers to troubleshoot hose and connector applications and develop appropriate solutions.
• Provide product information, technical guidance, pricing, and order support.
