Flour Mill Bulk Loader - 2nd shift

About the role

Location: Statesville, NC. This is a 2nd shift position, 2:30pm to 11:30pm, Mon-Fri, with some overtime and every other weekend for at least one day. Hours may vary depending on business needs.

You will operate tractors and trailers, handle bulk flour, and use hoses and housekeeping items.

Responsibilities

• Load truck trailers with bulk flour
• Collect samples for lab analysis
• Complete all necessary paperwork
• Seal hatches, hoses, and transfer points
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on equipment
• Maintain ongoing housekeeping duties
• Ensure food safety standards are met

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Able to back trailers and drive a manual transmission
• CDL preferred, but not required
• Must be able to read, write, understand, and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English for safety reasons
• Strong mechanical aptitude is a plus
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality-focused, clean, and effective verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check

Physical Requirements

• Physically strenuous work
• Ability to work in tight and confined spaces
• Frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds (occasionally more)
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders
• Required to wear PPE

Pay

$23.50/hr and up, with overtime paid at 1.5x your hourly rate.
