Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation: Clinic Waiting Room Greeter (Englewood)

Duties And Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guests with a smile and friendly voice.
• Offer water and coffee while patients and guests are waiting.
• Keep the waiting room neat and tidy.
• Engage patients and guests in light, easy conversation.
• Get a wheelchair as needed.

Shifts

Shifts are typically Monday - Friday, between 9am - 3pm, and is based on need, so could vary. We ask for a minimum time commitment of 3 hours per week, for at least 6 months.

Volunteer Requirements

• Submit a volunteer application.
• Complete a phone interview.
• Complete a criminal history check and drug/nicotine screening.
• * Please note that FCS is a nicotine- and medical marijuana-free workplace.
• Complete a health screening:
• Tuberculosis (TB) testing,
• Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella immunity proof are required.
• An influenza vaccine is required annually (August 1 through March 31).
