About the role
The Dermatology Clinic seeks a friendly Receptionist to join their team in Cabot.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors, in-person or on the telephone with a friendly tone.
- Has a contagious and positive work ethic.
- Has the ability to be coached.
- Schedules patient appointments in-person or by telephone, based on schedule templates.
- Protects patients' rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Scans patient information into the EMR system.
- Gathers necessary demographic and insurance information from the patient to create and/or update the patient's medical record.
- Interacts with patients and staff in a professional manner that promotes the values of our clinic and promotes teamwork.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Great customer service.
- Time management.
- Able to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of basic computer software and the ability to learn electronic medical records.
- Organization.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- HIPAA compliance.
