Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Handling + Quality Assurance: Ensure inventory is organized, maintained, and meets The Design Haus’s quality standards. Implement and monitor quality control procedures for installations and event execution. Organize inventory for efficiency and accessibility.
- Event Execution (Set-Up / Strike): Safely pack, transport, and set up inventory and designs and remove them after an event. Recover and organize items after events.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations. Maintain a safe working environment for all staff and oversee the proper handling of flowers and equipment.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of floral design and the wedding/event industry (a plus)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive delivery vans/box truck
- Able to lift and carry 30+ pounds
- Able to stand for an extended period
