Floorman - International Snubbing Services
Position Overview
Since 1982, International Snubbing Services (ISS), a Superior Energy Services subsidiary, has provided industry leading well-intervention services. Areas of expertise include hydraulic workover (HWO), snubbing, well control, blowout prevention, P&A, offshore drilling, intervention solutions, and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Learn basic safety requirements, equipment, procedures, and the tools to perform the job
- Pass background, physical examination, and drug screen
- Interact with co-workers and rely on common sense to follow written and verbal directions
- Follow safety requirements and participate in safety meetings, risk assessments, hazard hunts, and JSAs
- Understand, speak, read, and write English
- Use basic computer skills
- Absorb and assist in cleaning and loading equipment
- Rig up and rig down unit
- Pump operations including service and maintenance of pumps
- Maintain minor maintenance of HWO/snubbing units
- Maintain general housekeeping
Requirements
- High School or GED equivalent preferred
- 12-24 months experience in oilfield services preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Working Conditions
- Perform work in all types of environmental and extreme weather conditions
- Perform duties with all protective equipment and H2S respirator when required

About the Role
Join our well-intervention team! ISS is seeking a Floorman to join our team of snubbing and hydraulic workover specialists. Career path advancement is accessible through specialized training and mentors who are committed to helping you learn about the snubbing and HWO process.
Schedule
This position is subject to a training period at the ISS facility based in Arnaudville, LA, and various field locations. Once trained, job locations are primarily the Gulf of Mexico and West Texas land-based sites.
