Floor Technician - Schools

Responsibilities

• Machine scrub floors.
• Strip and wax floors.
• Spot cleaning and full carpet extraction/shampoo.
• Project work such as cleaning lights, lamps, window washing, etc.
• Assist with work orders as needed.
• Cover additional cleaning tasks when employees call off.
• Clean stairwells, signage, etc.
• Clean elevators and landing areas.
• Use miscellaneous flooring equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Be able to adapt and work as a team to ensure daily tasks, project work, requests and work orders are completed on time and within company expectations.
• Be polite and respectful with clients, guests, and co-workers.
• Experience - Some experience is preferred.
• Ability to be able to learn how to operate heavy equipment such as floor scrubber, buffer, etc.
• Education - Must be 18 years of age.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift items of up to 35 lbs. while moving around and perform other physical duties (i.e., climb ladder, lifting, bending). Ability to spend up to 100% of the working time standing and walking.
